OTG Records is a project studio in Raleigh, North Carolina. It’s a great space for clients, friends, and family to create musical expressions. The studio is also a place to explore audio toys and instruments and to continuously hone recording and mixing skills. Early recordings were done on Roland and Yamaha hardware workstations including the Yamaha AW16G which was a great machine. From there, a transition was made to PC-based recording.
Today, OTG Records is running Pro Tools 10 with the ability to record 16 tracks at once. The primary interface is an M-Audio ProFire 2626 which is augmented with 8 more microphone preamps connected via ADAT lightpipe. The studio has a nice complement of instruments, amps, and goodies to play with.
